Recently I heard a story of a person that had spent $65k on landscaping in Hays. It had been about 5 years ago. A couple of weeks ago the sprinkler system started to blow fuses. So he called the company that installed the system to fix it. A week later with no response, he called back, his yard was starting to suffer. The response he got was they were 7 months booked so he should call another company. He explained that he would pay for the work and that he purchased all of the equipment from this company. They said tough and hung up. I will make sure that I spread this word to 10 people who this was and the bad customer service they give.
I cant imagine that this type of customer service won't destroy a business. It is definitely BAD business.
In sales always remember that most people will tell more people about bad experiences than good. Do everything in your power to make the client experience the best it can be.
