These are just daily thoughts I have on the industry and processes. As a bonus you get some personal stories experience and others that may not be related to anything!

Enough with Vegas, On with Trust
How important is trust? Just ask Toyota. With around over 2200 parts on the average car and 30 years of safety, 1 part failure and your image is called into question. WHat is really being called into question is the response. Act early and be honest.

Vegas update
Great HTG meeting, it really felt like the new group is coming together. The knowledge in this group is amazing and I learn so much just being around these leaders.
Our meeting rooms in the Flamingo were good also.
The rooms were very nice. A little too much hot pink. I have to get one of those TV's in the bathroom mirror!

Tammy put the dare out...
Parma on a stick?
On delay..from last week
As always I have a chance to eat at some unique places. We ate at Stacks in the Mirage. See at http://www.mirage.com/restaurants/stack.aspx
This is the type of place that has an attendant in the restroom. If you know anything about me, this is not the type of place I traditionally enjoy the food. You know, everything is al la carte and usually does not have prices next to the food.
However I came across the Parma on a stick. So the picture is not so great (Thanks for taking it Erin) however under the description you will find that it states Very Adult. To be honest, this is not what I look for in description of my food.
I googled the Parma and it shows up as Ham. So, still not sure what this is. We did try the hot rock. I believe this is the modern version of the fondue (SP) pot. This is a rock that is extremely hot and you have strips of meat that you cook yourself. Unique, not that special. If I am paying the prices of these meals, you would at least expect that they would cook it for you?

I had a comment on Heading to Vegas
Here is the translation
感謝您費心的分享您的生活!讓我也感同身受!
"Thank you for sharing your life trouble! Let me also share their feelings!"
No idea what that means...

More Vegas
Post delay from last week
So we went to Ka at the MGM. http://www.mgmgrand.com/entertainment/ka-cirque-du-soleil-show.aspx
At the beginning they have characters that jump on lines from over 6 stories and go up and down next to the audience and across the stage. The beginning of the show did not go so well for one of the performers. Their line snapped about 2.5 to 3 stories up and they landed on concrete stairs. At first you think it might be a prank. It soon became obvious it was real when they hauled this person off on a back board taped down. That would be quite a fall.
However in Vegas the show must go on! On it went! To be honest, I didn't get it. I am sure there was a story line yet I really did not understand it. The stage was amazing. It went up, down spun and more. One more Vegas show down. Only a million more to go!

Heading to Vegas.
(This happened last week. I am posting after I got back to not identify that I am not home:))
I am flying Hays this morning, so if I post again during the day, you know that didn't go so well. OK enough negative. The great thing about going to Vegas is that you gain two hours. The bad is coming home. You lose two hours.
I have meetings starting within 1 hour of when I land. So I have to get to the Flamingo and get ready all within that hour. That might be a challenge.
At least it will be a bit warmer. It is not supposed to be hot by any means.
It will be great catching up with the HTG Gang and I look forward to getting challenged for 2010.
The good thing is that Jenifer will have company staying at the house all week so the house will be full.
