Vegas Bound

Leave for Vegas tomorrow night. Nope, not for work. Your right, I did just have two weeks of vacation. I have been telling people that I am not saving the vacation for December this year. Might as well start now.

Jenifer and I are going with some good friends of ours. Should be fun. I will probably post some pictures!

What is the answer?

I had a sales rep talk to me about a customer today. He could sell them solution A and make great margin, or solution B that was the correct solution and make minimal margin.

ANSWER? Always sell what is right for the customer. Short cuts, taking advantage of people or looking what benefits yourself first will come back and haunt you. Most of the time you will be rewarded in the long run for doing the right thing.

I hope people that have the opportunity in dealing with me do the same.

My first on camera experience.

Today I had my first professional on camera experience. Not just TV but for Intel. I found it interesting the amount of knowledge the people had that did the filming. 6 lights (Even a "Hair" light I am thankful to still need that) 3 cameras and even a guy that followed me walking on a cart for what I am guessing is an art shot.

Beyond the lights and camera's I was further impressed with the guy that did the interview. While he was not on camera he knew how to animate the people he was interviewing to get animated responses. I never knew how much impact this person could have on the outcome.

We will see what the outcome looks like. I will share the video when it is complete.
