Carsen "I know how to play golfing. All you have to do is hit it in the hole"
In sales somtimes it is just that simple and we try and make it too difficult. Next time you have come to a sales obstical. Try KISS.
These are just daily thoughts I have on the industry and processes. As a bonus you get some personal stories experience and others that may not be related to anything!

A good presentation!
So had to do a Defensive driving course yesterday. To be honest, I was dreading it a bit. 6+ hours in a room. Anyway, it turned out informative and even a little fun.
Thanks to Technical Trooper Tod Hileman for his presentation not only of the course material but he also added some of himself into the presentation.

The interview in 2010
I was ask what has changed in the interview process lately. Well to be honest, quite a bit.
The first thing I do is Google someone. This quickly can tell me a lot about someone. Now, getting back little information is not bad.
Next is the questions surrounding a company’s web presence. What is on the web page and such. Really, if you are wanting to have long term employment with a company, would you not want to know as much as you can about that company? This would also give you ammo on good questions to ask.
Last would be energy. Having a positive energy. OK sure this has not changed. Yet it is so important. If you cannot keep positive energy during a short interview, how would you expect to keep it long term in a job?
OH YEA. Last is a simple one. MAKE SURE YOU SPELL YOUR WORDS CORRECT IN YOUR RESUME. It is written in Word, the wavy line under the words are a clue that they are spelled WRONG! If you cannot get this most basic starting place correct, do not expect an interview. I am terrible at spelling. However I can use word…

Lasik Surgery.
If you didn’t know, I had that surgery a little over 7 years ago. I had someone ask me about it yesterday and I figured that it is something I should share. IT IS GREAT!
No more glasses or contacts. I see great and will have it done again when needed. The best money I have spent on myself in a long while. To wear non prescription sunglasses, not have to have my glasses fog up when it is cold outside and just to wake up and see.
If any draw back, I have to wear sunglasses outside. Even when it is not that bright.
Grene is who did my surgery in Wichita. Visit them at
