Somthing I thought I would never say.

Off to move the in laws in today.

They sold their house before their new place was finished so in they come.

I do not drink, however I may develop a 30 day habit :)

They have done a lot for us. Help us move (Multiple times)

Paint (Multiple times)

and much more. All I hope is that I can find the kind of patience that I have never seen before.

Getting back

So 8 hours in the car today went fast. I spent about 5 hours of that time on the phone. Getting updates from the team to catching up on missed calls. This made it go fast.

Coming to an end

So another long day. 6:00 am to well 1:30 am. I dread the long trip home but cannot wait to get there. Of course Jenifer will want to know why I am so tired since all I did was attend an event!

I have slept like a baby this trip. I suppose that happens when you get 4 hours of sleep a night and mix it with a little alcohol and it equals a good night sleep. It has been nice to have that upgraded corner suite.

So another great HTG meeting comes to an end. We came away with some strong action items and once again, I learned more in two days than I have in months prior. From the challenge of facilitating to vendor interaction and ending the day with the Microsoft Partner Advisory group (The ones that were here). Meeting with Microsoft is definitely an interesting engagement. None the less they are asking for my input? I believe the problem is that they don't even know the questions to ask. I do appreciate them at least trying. It is also interesting to get the vision from other countries. For instance that in the UK they have little or no vendor partnerships. What a different way of doing business. It still feels like a big compliment to be included in this world wide group of advisers.

Riding the Bull and Early morning snack.

So rode the mechanical bull last night, just as I thought, much harder than it looks. I will post pictures when some of they guys share them. Had a great time at the dinner last night.

I was woken at 3am this morning to room service. Someone sent me a hogie and fries. Very funny. However, that did not work out so well for you. First, there was a tip line. So I felt like a real giver last night. $45. That guy was happy to make the trip up and deal with me then. Second. I ate it.

Off to what feels like a real early morning.

Facilitation and calming the Croc's

Spent Sunday working on some of the finer points of facilitating the HTG group. I came away with quite a few new ideas and terms. It will come in handy over the next couple of days.

Like usual, early up and late to bed. Everyone thinks that when I get back I have not been working, however you be surprised by the number of ideas and work come back from this event. I look forward to our meeting Tuesday and Wed. Today I set in a session that talked about the pitfalls of hiring salespeople and how to avoid them. Some things that I already knew and some things I did not.

While I am out of the state, home life goes on. When talking to Jenifer she told me that I am not to tell Caden that there are no Crocodiles in Kansas. Strange at first however you saw the picture. The boys and family enjoyed a day at the museum
