When you have the new puppy getting you up 4 times a night, sleep is more important! She is getting better so I will not have any more excuses!

Another customer punishment program

Uh I mean customer reward program. Ate at Applebees today with my good friend Bill. On the table were these "Punch" cards where you eat frequently and get something free.

After our meal, Bill ask for our cards to be punched. Our waitress took the cards and came back and said our meal did not qualify. Supposedly you had to order the meals pictured on the card. So Bill read the card and it simply said something like "one meal gets one punch" No qualifiers about type or other. A great thought Bill had was that he has an allergy to Shell fish. So Shrimp was out (Pictured on the card) so I guess he would never qualify.

Point is, so many rules and the frequent customer bonus program became the Secret piss off the customer program.

On Applebees behalf, the did end up giving us stamps (Not a stamp as noted on card) but wasted 5 minutes of my life.

A little annoyance!

You ever read at the bottom of people's email where it says "Eco-Tip: Printing emails is usually a waste. Make this tip go viral, add it to your email signature" or something similar. Hey, what about the people making that ink/toner. They deserve to make a living. Maybe I will add a line. "Please print this email to use more ink and toner to create jobs!"

Then there are the people that have the really long email that says do not forward due to privacy or some kind of confidentiality statement. Get over it. It is email. If you say something stupid, it will be distributed at will!
