Knowing that you don't know is a strength?

Maybe the opposite is a know-it-all? I recently was working with an individual that felt they knew it better. Dismissing that I had 20 years experience, detailed how I knew it and the impact decisions had on business. Yet they continually were pointing out that it should be a different way. There are two things that probably should happen.

1. They should let it go. We (Yes WE) mad a decision. Back it.
2. At least have an understanding of the fact that others may know more.

The other side of this is being able to hear others side (From my perspective that is). Lately I have felt that I have leaned too far to others when I did know better. Ugh, self awareness is tough.
