I was talking recently with someone who was thinking about leaving without finishing their complete commitment. We were weighing the benefits to the consequences. In this case the immediate benefits were probably better than the the immediate consequences. However, one thing that I have always tried to do in business and life was finish what I started. If for nothing else but for principal.
You never know when not finishing what you start would come back and haunt you. You want to be known as dependable and staying till the end.
In the end, we worked out that finishing was the best. I wish everyone would do that!
