Vette is asking for the $ this week

So the Vette has spent most of the winter sleeping. I think it has been out of the garage twice since Thanksgiving.

However the last time a couple of weeks ago it left a large mark in the driveway. Unfortunately it was not rubber. It was oil

So it has spent the last week at the doctor. A front main seal. Could it be that easy? Nope, power steering pump (Hoses and such also). Hopefully that will end the spots on the carpet :)

It has been rather trouble free the last 2 years. Guess it was time to give it love and care.

They hopefully fixed the vibration in the steering also. That was only $20 Supposedly the wheels were balance via static balancing versus some other way and this new way will make it smooth (Or as smooth as a corvette gets)

I was hoping to get it out this weekend and drive it like it was stolen. However with the weather coming, not looking positive. In fact I have to figure how to get it from the doctor to home Friday. It is supposed to be a bit nasty Friday so that may be handful. You do not appreciate front wheel drive fully till rwd. You would think wide tires would be better on snow or rain. Not so. One rain storm I tried on a road trip and not fun.

I cannot wait for the smell of burning rubber in the spring.
