People are People

I have been from Canada to Jamaica, San Francisco to NY and a little everywhere in between. One thing continues to amaze me. That is really how similar we all live. Sure our houses are worth more or less, land can be very expensive to not expensive at all. We may even speak differently or complete different languages. Yet we have similar experiences.

Family
Friends
Food
Drink

So I add Technology. It is a common bond. It speaks only one language. (Ok maybe not one) but mostly one. (TCPIP). So using these things, you can probably find common interests. In sales, I think that these common experiences can be a place to start a bond and develop a common understanding. Many times we assume that because we live in similar parts of the country (Town Even) that we can make certain assumptions. With technology everyone has a different opinion and experience. Measuring these things will make this process of selling much easier.
