If you do not like it leave.

If you do not like your job, look for one that you enjoy. Life is too short to spend 8 plus hours a day at a job you do not like. There are so many career choices out there and even in small towns. Remember money is not everything (However it is part of the package)

If you do not like the job now, will it get better in 10 years? Probably not. If anything you will get more sour and dislike for that job. You are not only doing yourself a favor, you are most likely making everyone around you happier. You will be happier at home, hopefully your replacement will like the job and they will make everyone around them happier. It is win all the way around.

Start now!

You would think after 10 years I would learn.

Today is our 10 year wedding anniversary. And I messed it early. Jenifer pointed out that I blogged about headphones instead of her. However they have some similarities.

1. She keeps out the noise. (She keeps me focused and tells me when not to listen to the bad noise around me)
2. She has great sound. (IE great wife, mother and my best friend)
3. I will be glad to let you listen to her. (You know, like the BOSE headphones)
4. I got what I continually pay for...(I will pay for that one later)

Some differences
1. I didn't buy her at the Denver Airport (She stalked me when she worked at the bank)
2. Long after the BOSE wear out I will still have Jenifer
3. She does not like Rap, the BOSE love it.
4. The BOSE mow with me, Jenifer does not mow.

To the next 10 years. (I cannot wait to see the improvements that BOSE makes on their headphones)

My BOSE headphones.

Few things in my life seem to deliver moer than what I expect (I expect a lot). I have owned my BOSE for a couple of years now. Sure, they are great for travel. They cut out all the airplane noise, people noise and have amazing sound. This makes the whole experience more relaxing. I never realized how loud the airport really is until I put on the headphones.

OK I have to admit they are ridiculously expensive (Over $300). However I did see the value and have been extremely happy.

I use them mowing and I cannot hear the mower. Infact you do not have to turn up the volume that much because they cut out all the outside noise.

I do not want to leave out the quality of the sound. I am very picky about my speakers. I have had the opinion on the BOSE surround systems (Not really researched or tested) that BOSE had no highs, no lows that's BOSE. Anyway, the headphones are remarkable. If you see the BOSE booth at the airport, give it a try or if I am traveling ask me to see mine!

Playing catch up.

So Sunday we went to Worlds of Fun and had a great time. It was much cleaner and better run than I remembered. It had a great mix of rides for everyone and same with games. I even proved who was the master of the go cart track. Caden waved at Kevin as we passed!

Once again the Garmin came to the rescue. I35 North exit was closed and we had to reroute. It took us right where we needed to go.

You would think after a full day of playing the kids would be worn out. Nope, we had to swim at the motel for an hour. One thing about it. This is one thing that does not grow old. Kids everywhere love to swim.

Baseball

Went to the KC Royals game on Sat. The have recently remodeled the stadium and it is nice. Has the largest jumbotron currently (Until the Cowboys stadium opens). It also has a new kids area which has a carousel, and many other stations. Kinda sad that to keep attendance you have to build an amusement park there.

You think sales is hard here, try and sell the; sign up for a credit card for Tshirt or peanuts down the isle when it is 95 out.

Had a great time at the game, however I am not a baseball fan. When does Football start? Next week are the minicamps!
